Big News and Our Last Chance!
Now all donations before Dec. 31 will be tripled thanks to NewsMatch, a national grassroots campaign to support nonprofit news. NewsMatch will match dollar for dollar any individual donations up to $5,000. Two other organizations - the Logan Family Foundation and the DEI Fund - have also chosen to match gifts to Borderzine. That means a $1,000 gift becomes $4,000! And $20 becomes $80!
It gets better! @GoogleNewsInit has joined @NewsMatch to support journalism like ours.
This means we have a chance to unlock an additional $2,500 when we reach our goal, but gifts must be donated by Dec. 31 to make it happen.
Thus far we have raised $7,151 across multiple giving portals including this Pick-A-Project campaign. That's 62% of our goal of $11,500!
