Uplift our youth through the joy of learning music at UTEP!
The String Project at UTEP is a fantastic program for children in grades K-6 and for UTEP Music Majors!
The String Project at UTEP is an important youth music program offered at UTEP! The String Project gives youth in our community access to an affordable string education program before it is offered at school. The String Project is a fantastic enrichment opportunity for children in grades K-6 that serves to elevate their learning and introduce children to the joy of music!
Through the String Project, UTEP Music Majors gain valuable educational experience by teaching students how to play a string instrument such as violin, viola, and cello in a very supportive learning environment on the UTEP campus! Group ensemble classes meet weekly at UTEP and String Project students meet for individual lessons with UTEP Music Majors throughout the week.
