Support the Woman’s Auxiliary of The University of Texas at El Paso Centennial Endowed Scholarship!

The Woman’s Auxiliary of The University of Texas at El Paso was established in 1914 to raise funds in support of the University. This year, we are celebrating our Centennial Anniversary – 100 years of organizing projects and establishing scholarships for as many UTEP students as possible to fulfill their dreams of a college education. In celebration of our Centennial, we have established the Woman’s Auxiliary of The University of Texas at El Paso Centennial Endowed Scholarship. This endowment will provide university-wide annual scholarships in perpetuity.

We hope to grow this endowment to $100,000 in honor of our 100 years of service to UTEP and the students we serve. Please join us in supporting access to an excellent education!

UTEP is shaping the future for many students, and as it continues to grow, so must our commitment to providing scholarship support for deserving students. The generous support of Auxiliary members and community donors is essential in ensuring educational opportunities for our students.

THE HISTORY OF THE WOMAN’S AUXILIARY: The Woman’s Auxiliary of The University of Texas at El Paso has been an important source of support for the UTEP community for 100 years. In the early years, the Association played a key role in the organization of the University band and provided financial support to pay the salary of the band instructor and band uniforms. These contributions have expanded to provide academic and athletic scholarships, for both undergraduate and graduate students. Beyond scholarship support, the Woman’s Auxiliary has provided funds for the University Library and established four endowments. The Woman’s Auxiliary has also funded other initiatives for the University, including the El Paso Centennial Museum on campus in celebration of the Texas Centennial.
