Since its establishment in 1974, the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at UTEP has advanced the careers of students by enabling them to formulate new ideas, implement policies and resolve complex societal issues.
It’s an engine of social mobility that provides graduates with greater chances of career progression by connecting them with organizations that can employ them post-graduation.
By offering a professional education that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of a career in management and administration of governmental and non-profit organizations, the MPA program aims to equip future public servants to gain employment across all sectors.
Our goal of supporting student excellence means providing students with emergency funds, opportunities to attend conferences, stipends for internships, and more.
