Because flight costs have increased $271 per ticket compared to our initial estimate, we’re in great need of additional funding to cover this unexpected expense for 64 of our students.
In order to allow some time to raise more support, we have extended our crowdfunding campaign through March 8th and have updated our goal to $17,344 in hopes of covering the increased cost of plane tickets.
We hope you’ll donate today to support our talented group of students in UTEP Choirs as they make their debut at one of the most prestigious venues in the world.
If you’ve already contributed, THANK YOU! We hope you will help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with your friends and family to raise more support.
The UTEP Choirs have landed an invitation to sing in one of the most prestigious venues in the world in March 2024: Carnegie Hall in New York City!
“It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall and the students are very excited,” says the UTEP Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Elisa Wilson.
The Mid-America Production Festival at Carnegie Hall is one of the United States’ premier performance organizations that selects choral ensembles from across the globe to perform on the world-renowned stage.
The talented 64-member group of UTEP students will be paying their own way for the trip but they need additional support offsetting some of the travel costs to get there, including flight and per diem expenses.
Make a gift today and help UTEP voices be heard at Carnegie! Your donation will make this once-in-a-lifetime trip more affordable, and more enriching for students in the UTEP Choirs.
If the fundraising goal for this campaign is exceeded, additional donations will be applied towards this trip.
